#1 Email me and I will create a directory and link for your WEB page.
#2 Your WEB page MUST be named "index.htm" Note: This is in lower case.
#3 If your WEB page references gif's or jpg's then you must reference them as "in the current directory" so when building your WEB page keep all of your files in the same directory. Note image.jpg is not the same as IMAGE.JPG
#4 You can use WS_FTP to upload your files to the server.
#5 Here is how to log into the ftp server, start up the Ws_ftp program and set up your session profile to look like this, Enter your User ID and your password then click on the "save button" , now click on the "OK" button to log into the ftp server.
#6 When you log on you will see this screen. The left side is your hard disk's directories and files and the right side is the directory and files on the ftp server. The top boxes are the directories and the bottom box shows the files in the current directory. The first thing you would want to do is to move to the directory where you have your WEB page files stored ( again thats the left side ). Now that your are in your local WEB directory you can highlight the files that you want to upload and click on the arrow pointing towards the ftp server's directory. You should now see your files on both sides of the program. For each file that you upload to the server make sure that you have the proper options checked, ASCII for your index.htm file and binary for all of your image.gif or jpg's
Note: That this program works much like the Windows file manager, It will allow you to create/delete directories and files, this means that you can also delete old jpg's & gif's from the ftp server that you no longer use, just highlight the file and select delete.
#7 Now you can start up Netscape and go into the users WEB page area and admire your work.
#8 Don't forget to register your page with the search bots.
